Synopsis:
‘Dream’ is an educative, informative yet mind-blowing creative docu-reality series that takes children on an inspirational journey of what it means to have a person that you greatly dream to be, aspire to be and will go out your way at all cost to do what it takes to be like that person. Through the eyes of a child character, the show takes children into insights of what it takes to pursue a dream; the cost that comes with pursuing that dream.

Through Africa Children’s News Room (ACNR), African Children’s Television & Film Foundation (ACTFF) aims to engage youth in becoming active and contributing members of their society.

In Camps

Bringing news literacy, skills training, & resources to children & youth in refugee camps.

On the Road

Using a mobile media van equipped with all things news media production, ACNR will travel to those who cannot travel to us.

Africa Children’s Media Fund

This fund advocates for children’s media rights and supports all media projects that present children and youth (2- 11 yrs and 12-18 yrs), including training in children’s media development, journalism training in children’s news/media reporting, child and youth media campaigns, creating television and film content for children and youth, lobbying and research in child and youth media, creating governance and accountability-related programs in children’s media, and formulating educational and communication tools for child and youth media.

Content about children and youth

Under this category, we partner with different production companies to develop content/train local producers and writers, researchers and educators, on how to use media to advocate for social issues affecting African children and youth such as child early forced marriage, lack of educational system, different health issues, child security/ safety and generally focusing on children’s social rights.

Content for the children

This category works with regional and international partners to develop entertainment for children in local languages, educational formats, and cultured content. This is to develop short doc series, animations, and fiction film/ television programs for children.
