is a strategic communication and international development specialist with extensive global experience in cause-related marketing, fundraising, humanitarian crises and international journalism.

Sabine worked for 10 years with UNICEF, covering children’s issues on-site from around the world including in humanitarian emergencies.  While with UNICEF, she worked in the areas of child protection, nutrition, health and HIV/AIDS, water and sanitation, and education.  She was deployed in natural disaster zones, as well as in conflict and post-conflict countries. Sabine has worked across 15 countries in Africa.

Prior to UNICEF, Sabine worked in international broadcast journalism as a show producer, writer and field producer for leading news networks and agencies including CNN International, the BBC World Service, ABC News, CNBC, Reuters and AP.

Sabine holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science from UC Berkeley and a Masters degree in Social Sciences from the University of London, School of Slavonic and East European Studies. She is fluent in English, French, Russian and Spanish.
